today started out cold and cloudy, but then by afternoon things warmed up and the sun came out in cloud-dappled splendor.these hydrangeas are right outside the little cottage we're staying in until we find an apartment behind my aunt and uncle's house in laurelhurst. hydrangeas are my favorite garden flower with their purple and blue and cerulean magic, and they remind me of being small. especially in this light.
